CND Sweet Escape Collection

And just like that, spring break is over. I’m back in the office and can’t believe two weeks went by so quickly. Sigh! But on a happier note, I had the pleasure of attending the launch of CND’s sweet escape collection a few weeks ago and absolutely loved having the opportunity to preview their new colours as well as familiarize myself with their recently released special effects top coats. There’s three in total: matte, glitter, and pearl (which lends a gorgeous iridescent look to your nails). Anytime I wear it, I receive countless compliments and questions about what polish I’m using - the best kind of praise. And if you’re looking to add something new to your nailpolish collection? I can’t recommend these colours & top coats enough. I’m having so much fun using mine!

All the shades are fresh, fun, modern and perfect for spring. As always, I find the colour saturation so good with CND and only need to apply two coats in total. I typically get about 4-5 days wear, but I tend to be rather hard on my nails, so I’m sure 7 days would be a more accurate wear time for their Vinylux polishes.

Lastly, a few of you asked (via Instagram stories) if CND is non-toxic… from my research it’s listed as 5-Free and doesn’t contain (Formaldehyde, DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor). In some articles, it’s listed as 7 free. Personally, I find it very gentle on my nails, which is great, because my nails tend to be quite weak and can peel easily. So I’m happy that’s not the case with this polish. On that note, hope everyone is having a great start to their week and if you have any questions about these products, let me know in the comments section and I’ll be more than happy to answer!! xo

PS - I’m wearing Soulmate #307 in the above picture, and as you can see it’s so lovely!
