Technically, autumn doesn’t start for another eight days, but who’s counting! ;) We’re still enjoying warm & summer like days - on the other hand I’ve noticed cooler days have started creeping in. I can already imagine wearing this outfit again for cooler weather, except I’d love to swap my tank for a rust hued sweater and add my fave flats, or booties. Ah, autumn fashion! It’s always my favourite and I can’t wait to photograph all the outfits. Can you believe we’ve been shooting looks 2-3 times a week? I’m currently shot out until mid October and it’s seriously the best feeling. Who’s excited for the return of outfit photos?!
Lately, I’ve received a few DM’s asking how my injuries are coming along after my slip & fall accident, and I thought I’d update you here. Honestly, I’d say it’s all very so-so. I can’t seem to use my hands for more than 3-5 minutes before the pain sets in, so then I ice, and try to rest. As you can imagine… everything is happening very slowly and I have to ask for lots of help to complete everyday tasks. Martin’s taken over all of our cleaning, cooking, and fur fam duties, and he’s currently taking a break from his acting career so he can be home to help. I really don’t know what I’d do with out him. I’m so glad I’m healing though, but I am getting a little anxious about how much pain I’m still in and when I’ll be able to resume all my life commitments / career.
Other than that, not too much else is new. Mainly, I’m just getting antsy and want to get back to working out (missing my yoga so much), making career goals for my photography business, cleaning the house, cooking lots of yummy plant based meals and hosting friends for dinners, etc. But it’s not all doom & gloom over here, haha, I promise! We’re meeting up with friends for a brewery date and I’m slowly but surely trying to check things off my autumn bucket list - which I’ll be back to share later this week! xo
